INNOVATIVE APPROACHES:
Building on 25 Years of Health Care for the Homeless

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council is accepting proposals for workshop, poster, and pre-conference institute presentations at the 2010 National Health Care for the Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium, Innovative Approaches: Building on 25 Years of Health Care for the Homeless.

This annual meeting draws on the expertise and commitment of more than 700 attendees from across the United States and is broadly inclusive of Health Care for the Homeless staff, consumers, and board members, others who provide health care and supportive services to homeless people, government officials, academicians, health professions' students, and advocates.

KEY CONTENT AREAS

We seek introductory and advanced level proposals in these areas:

• Health Care Delivery
• Collaborative Care Delivery
• Administration
• Policy and Advocacy

Please review our Call for Proposal Guidelines for example topics, selection criteria, and instructions for submitting your proposal.

The agenda from the 2009 National Health Care for the Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium lists accepted workshops from our last conference.

PRESENTER COMPENSATION

• Conference registration fees will be waived for up to three presenters per workshop. There is a limit of three speakers per session; please do not include more than three in your proposal.
• The registration fee will be waived for one presenter per poster.
• Honoraria and compensation for travel and accommodation are not available.

DEADLINES

Workshop and Poster Proposals:
Wednesday | October 21, 2009 

Pre-Conference Institute Proposals:
Wednesday | November 11, 2009

Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered.
